Do those plug in pest control products really work? Can anyone tell me on a scale from 1 to 10, how well those ultrasonic pest control products that you plug into the wall work? 1 being not worth the money, don't buy one and 10 being totally worth it, buy one.
Has anyone tried the electronic pest control products? I am looking for something that will plug into a wall and emit a frequency that the pesky squirrels in my attic will hate. Has anyone used any of these products, if so, how would you rate them? The suggestions to use other methods are great, but I have already gone down each of those roads. I have had two traps installed and the squirrels have chewed beyond both of them, have had all of my trees cut back, etc. I am in the middle of one major repair and just want something to get them out of my attic, even temporarily so they don't try to chew their way out or die up there once the new boards and flashing are up. So, I am not really looking at this for the final solution, just something to get them out of my house in the short term. So... has anyone had any success with any of these devices as far as squirrels are concerned?
Pest control products, where can i find IGR? Hi, I'm trying to find a local store that sells pest products for do it yourself pest control. I live in Miami,FL. This product is not available in Home depot, Ace, Lowes, or Walmart, Any suggestions? If i wasn't clear before, i do not want to buy online. I want to actually go to a physical store.
Non toxic pest control products? Hi, I'm looking to buy some non toxic pest control products to use in my home. I have a infant and a dog. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks:)
Do these citrus-based pest control products ever actually kill anything? Last night I sprayed a cockroach that was in my bathroom. Went into town and returned about two hours later, and it was still totally alive. I'm trying to be conscious of our environment, but don't want to waste money on ineffective products--and prefer not to allow bugs to take over my home, which is easy to do in Hawaii.

What is the best outdoor pest control product to use in the yard? We have an influx of spiders and mosquitos where we just moved, and I want to be able to enjoy the SoCal sunshine without freaking out. I heard a commercial on the radio about a product called Bug Be Gone or something like that... you put it on your yard and the effects last up to 3 months. I have not been able to find this online. ANY help would be nice! Thank you!
Do Lesco pest control products contain paraquat and/or rotenone? These are chemicals that have recently been associated with Parkinson's Disease and I am obviously concerned. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/02/110214115442.htm http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1761054/pdf/nihms12138.pdf http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20110211/ts_alt_afp/healthusdisease%3B_ylt%3DAts4DL42QJIg0ue7chmTBqis0NUE%3B_ylu%3DX3oDMTFpdmNuNWtoBHBvcwMzOQRzZWMDYWNjb3JkaW9uX21vc3RfcG9wdWxhcgRzbGsDdXNzdHVkeWxpbmtz

Roach problem!!!! Pest control advice!? I just moved into my apartment not to long ago and I am now experiencing a serious roach problem. Every time I go in my kitchen at night I end up killing at least 3 roaches. I keep signing up for pest control every week but I feel like the guy doesn't do much and it doesn't help AT ALL. Just wondering if there are any good pest control products/chemicals/traps or anything to get rid of these nasty bugs....! Thanks!
Is pest control allowed in egypt or is considered as an offense? My friend told me that she was arrested in egypt for using pest control, the police informed her that pest control product is considered highly dangerous in egypt and is a national threat by trying to make a public massacre for egyptians. Why is that? http://www.hardwarestore.com/media/product/270900_front200.jpg http://baloghpestcontrol.com/images/pests.jpg
Has anyone used mail order products to remove stinkbugs and had results?? Where I live, stinkbugs are like some sort of Biblical plague. Everytime I Google looking for answers, there are websites like bugspray.com offering aerosols, sprays, dust etc. that supposedly deal effectively with them. However, every quote I've read from exterminators and entymologists insists there's nothing you can do but seal up your house 100%. What do you think? Is it a waste of time\money to order products online to spray and treat your house interior/exterior? Do "pest control" sites offer products for stinkbugs that only offer temporary results? Or are there ways to beat the bugs if you have the time and money?
Opinions on Ultrasonic & Electromagnetic Pest Control? I was mentioned to use some sort of Ultrasonic & Electromagnetic Pest Control to get rid of pests. I was wondering does anyone really know how effective these kinds of products are??? Do they really work??? For how long???
Will the "Gentrol" and "Demand CS" that my "Professional Pest Control" used, get rid of my roaches and bugs? I moved out of an apartment because there were bed bugs on the 4th floor. (I lived on the 3rd). I had Terminex check my apartment for bed bugs because I didn't want to take any with me when I moved. I told the Terminex guy that I thought I had been bitten once. He looked at one seam of my matress and said that it was my imagination -- and I didn't have bed bugs. He sprayed around my bed to humor me. We found another house and before I moved in I had pest control come out to treat for both bed bugs and roaches because because I didn't want to deal with ANY pests. We moved in after they sprayed. When they came out for the second treatment, they found that I had a few bedbugs on the seam of my mattress, and roaches were still running around. The PC guy told me that what they use prevents the roaches from reproducing and they eventually die off. How long is eventually? I Want Them Gone!! This is so depressing, that I don't want to cook or eat in the house! It's been about a month and I'm still dealing with roaches, and I'm not sure about the bed bugs. Is Pest Control using the wrong products?
Pest control for vegtable garden? During my second season of vegtable gardening, I had alot of pest problems. You name it I probably had it. Are there any federal, state or local guidleines regarding pest infestations and habitability of rental homes? I moved into my apartment in November to discover there is a major roach problem! I'm extremely clean and know thatt it isn't possibly a result of my lifestyle. I've requested several times that the problem be taken care of. The landlord has sent an exterminator twice and the problem still isn't resolved. I've done all that I can to help including purchasing pest control products, moving my kitchen trash can outside and even refraining from cooking in my own home!!!! It's so bad that the other morning i woke up my two year old to get her dressed for daycare and when i unzipped her pajamas there was a tiny roach in them!!!! I cried and my skin nearly crawled off my body. I haven't even be staying at home and it just doesn't seem fair that I'm stuck in this lease and have to pay the full rent every month.
What can I do about a nuisance property causing me pest problems? Okay next door to me is located a filthy mess of a house. The guy who owns it only goes in it from time to time through the alleyway and he's never around long enough to catch him to talk to him. Anyways I've spent well over $200 in pest control products as this house has not only caused me a flea infestation because of the blue million stray cats but also a cockroach infestation! I can only get rid of the creatures just long enough for them to come right back thanks to this house and I have NEVER before in my life had a problem with any bugs ever. The yard to this house is filled with bins of rain water, trash all over the place, overgrown grass & weeds, and mosquitoes! I cant even open my dining room windows because of it. I've emailed the city but I no nothing will be done so what else can i do about this problem considering its owner is basically un-catchable!?

How do I get rid of household ants?!? I had an infestation, and about 4 RAID ant bait traps got rid of them, but a smaller version of the pests moved in after them, and the bait traps aren't doing anything. They are all over the kitchen, and I've tried other commercial pest control products, but NOTHING and I mean NOTHING works. I even used bleach!! And while I took extreme glee in their bleach induced convulsions, they are still here and are still crawling over everything and everybody. PLEASE HELP!!!!
Pest Control 911-Roaches? I need to get rid of these roaches in my apt. The landlord won't do anything and I have tried many products. Them pest-est little creatures are still here. I need a real answer. One with positive results.

Home Pest Control Help? Does anyone know if over the counter pest control's work as well as hiring a professional exterminator? We have lots of spiders in our house, especially the basement. I wanted to know if anyone had success with products you can buy at Home Depot or Lowes instead of me spending $200 + $45/mo for a pest control service. Personal experience & website references would be a big help. Thanks.
Why is Commercial Pest Control more effective than Domestic Pest Control? ? Fumigation used to result in hundreds of dead cockroaches leeching out of the cracks and dropping to the floor .. new pesticides are useless i haven't come across one dead body. I have used a wide range of products to rid myself of german roaches, have hired and payed for hundreds of dollars of domestic pest control services and can honestly say that my coffee cup catches more roaches than all of them combined. Restaurant friends, who had success with their own pest erradications, suggested I hire a company who erradicates pests to industry standards ..ie..for restaurants, motels, and some very well known resorts etc. I figured if it was good enough for them it was going to work for me. The company in question travelled from another city and took aprox 3 hrs to fumigate my house interior/exterior and workshed, it was very expensive but i didn't care so long as the treatment worked. Sadly..I still had roaches!! I've lost faith in all exterminators since then they simply Don't Work!.. and i refuse to pay for services i have NOT received. Are they using different strengths of chemical for domestic areas than they do in Commercial Areas?
What is the pest DIY home pest control treatment? I have had contracts with 2 highly regarded pest control companies. The first just wasn't working at all and the guy would be here about 5 minutes for a 3 month treatment. My contract is now up with the 2nd company and it seems as though I have to call now to get my every 2 month service, which also didn't last 2 months. What is the best product I can buy to use around the perimeter of my home every month or whatever? I used to do it myself before hiring these companies, applying 3 feet up and out as they do, but I know there are newer products out there and want the best. I only apply to the outside of my house, don't like the stuff inside, and that has always worked just fine. Thanks!
can I resell a product as something else ? If I buy a product that is a packaged food product can I repackage it and sell it for something else, another purpose not for human consumption. I want to by a food product and sell it as a pest control product
A question about pest control??????please help!!!? Ok so terminex charge me and my husband $500 for a year of pest control. My husband doesn't want to pay that much money to get rid of bugs. Ok so there I was sitting pretty having not had any bugs in my house for a whole. Now our contract is up, and what happens? 3 water-bugs and one tiny roach appears in a span of one week. I scream every time one pops up and I want to put a stop to this immediately. My husband refuses to pay someone else. What can we do ourselves that would be the equivalent to what they do as far as treatment? What products and stuff do I need? help!!
Curious what products or chemicals that Professional Exterminator Uses to Eradicate Mice in Basement & Garage? There exists some Great Information in Yahoo Answers about Rodent Control, specifically neutralizing or trying to control "wise" Field Mice who I have seen in the past enter homes and build food caches via carrying dog food and storing it inside shoes & boots in the basement and garage etc Dogs and cats are in our household are no longer a problem.... Glue traps and spring loaded mouse traps baited with peanut butter don't seem to sufficiently stop or deter the unseen mice population. My wife thinks using poison bait pellets and/or blocks is not the answer/solution bec she is afraid that mice will die elsewhere in basement or garage. When I have found one that has actually managed to drag the glue trap and eventually die, they are normally dried & shrinklved up into a little tidy mess than I am considering using more aggressive extermination methods bec existing methods: glue traps, spring loaded traps and leaving garage door open for neighbor's cats simply isn't cutting the mustard... Thus, I was curious what a professional exterminator who does pest control for a living & is employed by companies like Orkin and Terminix what equivalent intermediate or advanced rodent control products & chemicals would he/she recommend that consumers and homeowners might find sold in hardware/grocery store(s)? Thanks so much for your time and wisdom!
What is the best fogger to use to get rid of millipedes? I live in a basement apartment and millipedes are coming in from the baseboards. I have bought a dust product from a pest control company to use under the baseboards, but I think I'd like to also use a fogger to kill everything that's already inside. Any suggestions? I have used two (spray) products from a home improvement store and neither of them killed the stinky little guys, that's why I have restorted to the dust.
Pest Control in the house? I got a lot of spider in the bathroom. May I just spider bomb the bathroom and stay in the house. I will open the window for everyone's room. I'm using this product http://www.hotshotbrand.com/ProductCategories/IndoorInsecticides/NoMessFogger/

Haier many rat is rats many mouse is mice i am sorry about it.
Apartment mgmt had pest control company apply insecticide gel under the sink. Any danger to breathe/inhale? There was no existing insect problem. They just applied the gel every 6 months as a preventative thing. I realize that this product was approved for use in the U.S. of course and is considered generally safe. But I was pregnant at the time. I'm moving to a new apartment soon where they'll likely apply the insecticide gel under the sink again. So I'd just like to know some info, such as the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) or something regarding the effects of breathing around the chemicals in this type of gel. Thanks for any help!

DIY folks: Can I get your opinion on a DIY store? It's mostly DIY pest control products, but we are trying to branch out and sell other things as well. We have some fertilizers and are not interested in pool stuff because there's too many pool product stores already. What would you guys, as DIY homeowners, like to see in a DIY store? Pomohud- We dont carry anything that you can find at home depot or Loews. Because their pest control products are a joke. Literally....I laugh in the pest control section.
More roach questions.? How can I get roaches out of electronics such as televisions, my personal computer, the key board too,(my key board is older so I can't open it much). How do I keep them out ? I don't want to cover them I don't want them to over heat.. I know these dang things Love electronics, hidding in them, feeding, mating, etc. It's driving me,"buggy" for sure.. I couldn't resist. Professional pest control secrets would really help here.. I know I can't buy your pro products, so what's the next choise here? Do it your self pest control products, what works really good? I am getting a professional pest control service finally, but I'd sure like a Good head start.. It will be a few weeks before I can afford this.. I am very low income.. why is it legal to sell "male enhancement" drugs on TV when any doctor will tel you its a scam? and how does "RIDEX" (electric plug-in pest control) get away with targeting seniors with a very scientific-sounding description of their pest control product ...when in fact, its a scam ? how can the Vatican get away with telling an AIDS-ravaged impoverished African community that "science shows condoms are ineffective against STDs" ? why is the reality show "ghost hunters" so popular? why can any group buy commercial air time and claim absolutely anything they want? ... such as "studies show gays dont make good parents" ?? WHY IS our standards on public information so LOW? ...why is legitimate information allowed to be polluted with s**t? turjimt : "liberal fascist"? lol * googles "liberal fascist"

How did Noah feed the animals? 4. Caring for the Animals Special diets. Many animals, especially insects, require special diets. Koalas, for example, require eucalyptus leaves, and silkworms eat nothing but mulberry leaves. For thousands of plant species (perhaps even most plants), there is at least one animal that eats only that one kind of plant. How did Noah gather all those plants aboard, and where did he put them? Other animals are strict carnivores, and some of those specialize on certain kinds of foods, such as small mammals, insects, fish, or aquatic invertebrates. How did Noah determine and provide for all those special diets? Fresh foods. Many animals require their food to be fresh. Many snakes, for example, will eat only live foods (or at least warm and moving). Parasitoid wasps only attack living prey. Most spiders locate their prey by the vibrations it produces. [Foelix, 1996] Most herbivorous insects require fresh food. Aphids, in fact, are physically incapable of sucking from wilted leaves. How did Noah keep all these food supplies fresh? Food preservation/Pest control. Food spoilage is a major concern on long voyages; it was especially thus before the inventions of canning and refrigeration. The large quantities of food aboard would have invited infestations of any of hundreds of stored product pests (especially since all of those pests would have been aboard), and the humidity one would expect aboard the Ark would have provided an ideal environment for molds. How did Noah keep pests from consuming most of the food? Ventilation. The ark would need to be well ventilated to disperse the heat, humidity, and waste products (including methane, carbon dioxide, and ammonia) from the many thousands of animals which were crowded aboard. Woodmorappe (pp. 37-42) interprets Genesis 6:16 to mean there was an 18-inch opening all around the top, and says that this, with slight breezes, would have been enough to provide adequate ventilation. However, the ark was divided into separate rooms and decks (Gen. 6:14,16). How was fresh air circulated throughout the structure? Sanitation. The ungulates alone would have produced tons of manure a day. The waste on the lowest deck at least (and possibly the middle deck) could not simply be pushed overboard, since the deck was below the water line; the waste would have to be carried up a deck or two. Vermicomposting could reduce the rate of waste accumulation, but it requires maintenance of its own. How did such a small crew dispose of so much waste? Exercise/Animal handling. The animals aboard the ark would have been in very poor shape unless they got regular exercise. (Imagine if you had to stay in an area the size of a closet for a year.) How were several thousand diverse kinds of animals exercised regularly? Manpower for feeding, watering, etc. How did a crew of eight manage a menagerie larger and more diverse than that found in zoos requiring many times that many employees? Woodmorappe claims that eight people could care for 16000 animals, but he makes many unrealistic and invalid assumptions. Here are a few things he didn't take into account: Feeding the animals would take much longer if the food was in containers to protect it from pests. Many animals would have to be hand-fed. Watering several animals at once via troughs would not work aboard a ship. The water would be sloshed out by the ship's roll. Many animals, in such an artificial environment, would have required additional special care. For example, all of the hoofed animals would need to have their hooves trimmed several times during the year. [Batten, 1976, pp. 39-42] Not all manure could be simply pushed overboard; a third of it at least would have to be carried up at least one deck. Corpses of the dead animals would have to be removed regularly. Animals can't be expected to run laps and return to their cages without a lot of human supervision. The reference is given in my previous question about the ark. also see this site for answers like, God just did it... one must wonder about a God who reportedly does one thing and then arranges every bit of evidence to make it look like something else happened. It's entirely possible that a global flood occurred 4000 years ago or even last Thursday, and that God subsequently erased all the evidence, including our memories of it. But even if such stories are true, what's the point?" Blusapphire, I've a degree in Theology... , what about you, do you spend your time defending or do you think about the logistics of it?

Have you become more skeptical of mail order products advertised on TV which claim to do amazing things? I have generally not had many problems with products advertised on TV that I ordered via phone or internet. But I've had a string of several that delivered real disappointments lately, and I'm wondering if they are just not making things like they used to or if the rules for truth in advertising have somehow relaxed. I purchased the Infinity Razor which was supposed to stay sharp for a lifetime. I think I got only about 5 semi-decent shaves out of it and then gave up because I had to keep shaving the same area over and over to come away without stubble. I ordered the Riddex Ultrasonic Pest Control Units and thought those worked well in the beginning. Then mice started to appear right under the Riddex Unit as if it wasn't even there. I found out these things are a complete hoax, so that was another disappointment. Most recently, I ordered the Twin Draft Guard which is supposed to keep drafts from slipping in under the door. The TV ad claimed it fit any door and even over carpeted areas. That was complete BUNK! The door has to be a perfect height above the floor in order for this twin-sleve device to stay attached and it certainly does not glide easily over carpet. It was a total waste of my money. How about your experience? Have you gotten lured in by these supposedly great innovations advertised on TV, only to find out it was mostly just B.S. and the product didn't really work? I think these marketers COUNT on the average consumer not taking time to box up the product, go to the post office to weigh it, and apply sufficient postage to send it back. They COUNT on you not bothering if the ticket price is relatively low so they GET AWAY with exagerated claims and succeed at fooling most people. Buyer Beware! What has your experience been?
how would i start this lucrative venture? While calling around looking for service for, transmission repair, computer repair, pest control, yard keeping and so on, I realized I made 10 calls on average, to give someone money. THEY SHOULD BE FINDING ME So that is why i thought of eservice.com ( not mine)where contractors can bid on your service. You would post what you would need in the right subject much like ebay, but instead of products, services. Sample I need to resurface my cabinets. mid sized need done by end of june. Please only licensed contractors bid contract john- i will do it for $1300 we do deluxe work and will do it in a week Contractor Tim- 7 yr experience $750 call # LOCAL! Now as a consumer I would interview them till I find the one I like and offer them the bid. Eservices collects a small member fee from the contractor (10 a month) and 5% of the agreed project price. win win win. Someone help me with this idea to get it launched. ebay does not verify the products before they are sold, neither would this sight verify work, thats the buyers job to do a hsitory search. this could be for local oil changes ect thanks for the feed back
Flea control - Get rid of the pests? my house has fleas, especially the living room area because my family keeps on getting bites. And sometimes the fleas jump on my arm or feet, we caught about 5 but those pests get away really fast. We're suspecting that its coming from our rabbit. Do we really need to call the exterminator or is there other ways of dealing with these pests? Also, anyone recommend any products thats effective or that fleas are afraid of? Desperate *sigh*

Will Dormant Oil Harm Praying Mantis Cocoons? Three questions: 1) Will Dormant Oil Harm Praying Mantis Cocoons? (Getting ready to spray dormant trees and ornamentals.) 2) Planting dahlias even though pests love them: snails and slugs - spider mites and red spiders - earwigs and cucumber beetles. Question: Will Insecticidal Soap treat all the above, or can you recommend a product that will help to control dahlia pests? "Magic" has been recommended to me for snails and slugs. Malathion has been recommended to kill the others. My preference is biological control. 3) a clematis last year had a horrible problem with red spiders. Any suggestions about this? Thanks much,
Attack of the Locusts/Secadas? Live in KY, and in the last few weeks there are TONS of locusts/secadas all over the front of my house/patio. If I come out at night I see them "hatching" out of their brown exoskeleton-they stick to the front of my house by my door & then land on my patio, by morning there are usually about 20 all over my patio.I keep sweeping them away but a few hours later, they are always back and new ones are back hatching on my house. I sparyed a pest control spray all over-but it didn't do anything. Any tips on what can ward them off of my house and patio? I don't care if they are on the lawn or trees but I am sick of having to walk through them to come in & out of my house. Are there any products I can buy myself or certain scents, flowers, anything that I can put there to keep them away? Please don't suggest I call professional help, can't afford it, please give me tips on things I can purchase or do MYSELF to help keep them off my house and front door and patio, THANK YOU. ****PLEASE...can any anyone give me some actual tips on what I CAN DO NOW TO HELP RID ME OF THESE PESTS??? Its' too late to do the "grub killer" thing...I just want to know what I can do to ward them off of the front of my house and patio?

We sprayed all the ants yesterday, and the pest control person knew we have 5 cats, and we asked him to used a product that wont hurt my cats. It's the weekend so I can't call because they're closed. He was mainly spraying for ants.I'm not sure "where" he sprayed though.Do you think it could of got to my tabby though? What can I do to help her? She's acting really depressed and refusing to eat food, please tell me what I can do to help! * 2 days ago * - 5 days left to answer. Additional Details 1 second ago I have taken Mandy to the vet. She was given a penicillin needle, the drip for 5 mins, and cloramax. She was running a fever that day. After bringing her home she was fine for about 2 hrs but then went back to the same sick state by not eating or drinking. any suggestions? I am taking her to the vet at 5pm today. I currently have two cats now on antibiotics. One had flu symptoms due to a little kitty I adopted. He has a raw red nose from licking his nose due to the cold and the other tabby is still got fever. Help!!! I need to finish it today! (2)? This is another part of the article. Can anyboby help me to rewrite it? And find the mistakes in the article? Thanks a lot! Here is the article: Human activities, such as direct harvesting of species, introduction of alien species, habitat destruction, and various forms of habitat degradation, have caused dramatic losses of biodiversity; current extinction rates are estimated to be 100–1000 times higher than prehuman extinction rates. Some measure of biodiversity is responsible for providing essential functions and services that directly improve human life. For example, many medicines, clothing fibers, and industrial products and the vast majority of foods are derived from naturally occurring species. In addition, species are the key working parts of natural ecosystems. They are responsible for maintenance of the gaseous composition of the atmosphere, regulation of the global climate, generation and maintenance of soils, recycling of nutrients and waste products, and biological control of pest species. Ecosystems surely would not function if all species were lost, although it is unclear just how many species are necessary for an ecosystem to function properly.

How do I keep bugs off of my porch? Well summer is here and here come the bugs, its like hundreds show up out of nowhere in a matter of days, all flocking to my porch. We live in KY, so the front porch is a major part of our life, its our main area for entertaining guests. I really don't want to hire a pest control company because I'm strapped for cash like everyone else at this time, so I'm wondering what products I can use myself to fix this problem. I must also emphasize the fact that we have a lot of pets, so it must be something that won't harm them. Thanks for any suggestions. About the Borax powder...we have some stray cats that come around also when we're not here so I couldn't make sure that they wouldn't eat it, would they be attracted to its smell or anything?
How would u selling this product? If you had to market and sell a chemical product (1080 or call sodium monofluoroacetate) to a company to help destroy pest for good how would you go about marketing that in a presentation in front a environmental control officer? (having these things to think about when giving the presentation – Preparation, opening approach, establishing needs, selling the deal, handling objectives and closing the sales) how would you go about with each of these elements? What sort of visual aid(s) would you use for this type of presentation as well?

Pet Food Info? As you have probably heard – there is a major pet food recall taking place. Many leading pet foods have been affected and several pets have died as featured in this recent news article http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17650075/from/ET/ Find your pets food and treats and see if wheat, corn, or by-products are listed in the ingredients. If so, discard the products immediately. Dog foods currently being recalled: America's Choice; Preferred Pets; Authority; Award; Best Choice; Big Bet; Big Red; Bloom; Bruiser; Cadillac; Companion; Demoulas Market Basket; Fine Feline Cat; Shep Dog; Food Lion; Giant Companion; Great Choice; Hannaford; Hill Country Fare; Hy-Vee; Key Food; Laura Lynn; Loving Meals; Main Choice; Mixables; Nutriplan; Nutro Max; Nutro Natural Choice; Nutro; Ol'Roy; Paws; Pet Essentials; Pet Pride; President's Choice; Price Chopper; Priority; Publix; Roche Bros; Save-A-Lot; Schnucks; Springsfield Pride; Sprout; Stater Bros; Total Pet; My True Friend; Western Family; White Rose; Winn Dixie and Your Pet. Did you know that the FDA does not regulate the pet food industry? Did you also know that most commercial pet foods are made from less than human quality ingredients. Did you know that most pet foods bought in the store have been sitting around for as long as 18 months before you buy it? Did you know that dogs and cats have the genetic potential to live 20 - 25 years but we are robbing those years from their lives with cheap pet foods. Here are just a few of the procedures that we follow to provide your pet with a safe and nutritious product. I have found a great alternative to all the brands carried in all the local stores. I have recently switched my dog over to this food and have seen a great improvement the last month or so. The food is Life’s Abundance. This is some of the information I can provide for the food. You can read and hear more about it at http://www.HealthyPetFoodBiz.com All the products are manufactured in a USDA facility. All of the ingredients are individually inspected for human quality and carry the APHIS certification (a European standard for human quality ingredients) Every vendor must supply an 'assurance statement' with each shipment. This statement must provide nutritional quality of ingredient provided AND must state it is free from any mold, bacteria, and so forth. Dr. Jane has the ingredients tested AGAIN before manufacturing to make sure the quality is as stated AND it meets her standards The product is tested 3 times during the manufacturing process - to again assure everything is 'as it should be'. The product is tested again after manufacturing and again when it arrives at the warehouse. One bag of food is kept at the warehouse - from each batch - to test in case a Customer has a problem or concern with the product. Each 'one bag' from each batch is kept for 1 full year. The products are shipped directly from HealthyPetNet's warehouse to the Customer - no middleman warehousing (concerns of proper storage and pest control).
Do you use integrated farming in the USA? It is a system for growing things in the European Union which is very strongly regulated like organic but it allows the use of pesticides in a controlled manner and only in certain cases and for a certain pest and in a certain amount, it also regulates land use and the percentage of land that must be kept without intact for wildlife. The agricultural product then gets certified as coming from integrated production and is then easier to sell. Does something like this exist in the USA or there is either organic or conventional?

Do you shop at Petco? Did you hear that the FDA seized pet food at the PETCO distribution center in Joliet, IL, saying, "We simply will not allow a company to store foods under filthy and unsanitary conditions that occur as a direct result of the company's failure to adequately control and prevent pests in its facility," said Margaret O'K. Glavin, associate commissioner for regulatory affairs. "Consumers expect that such safeguards will be in place not only for human food, but for pet food as well." The distribution center in Joliet, Ill., provides pet food products and supplies to PETCO retail stores in 16 states including Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin. Here's the link to the FDA press release: http://www.fda.gov/bbs/topics/NEWS/2008/NEW01854.html Have you noticed any illness in your pets because of this?
