What electronic pest control devices really work? I have a pest problem in my house with mice and insects. That traps and baits aren't really having that much affect. I have been seeing ads for Riddex and Pest Control Plus. You plug them into the wall and they send signals through your house to repel the pests. I would like to know which ones really work so I can get rid of this nuance. Thank You Sorry for the spelling errors
do electronic pest control devices work to keep rodents out? I built a 30*32 garage and worry about rodents making it their home. Will those electronic devices deter them? Any suggestions? The blog dealt with air purifiers.. I am confused At this time I do not have a pest problem - the unit is new. I am trying to avoid havign an issue with these creatures.
Best electronic pest control? My roommate and I have been having a bit of a problem with pests as of late. We really want to try those electronic plug-in pest repellers, but we have pets. There's a bird, a rabbit, a cat, and a dog. Is there something we can use that'll be safe to use alongside them? A lot of the electronic ones promise to keep birds away, and I don't want to hurt/bother my own bird! Thanks!
can my dog hear the electronic pest control? I got a couple elctronic pest controls, and now my beagle(a really gentle dog) has been very grumpy n mean to the other dogs, it has keaner hearing than the other, is it possible she hears it n they dont?
Has anyone tried those Electronic Pest Control gadgets? Needing some serious feedback before purchase - Thanks We live in a 2 level town house with garage & small yard. Neighbour has birds which have increased mouse population dramatically, plus theres the dreaded cockroach... can't handle waking up to one falling on you from the roof... we do have a clean home, cockroaches are just everywhere these days; I have chemically sensitive grandchildren so need to limit amount of pesticides, etc and am looking for a safe and effective way to control pests. The Cost of 2 units is Au $180 - Being a pensioner I hesitate to purchase without some authentic customer feedback so am looking for people who have tried these gadgets.:
What is a good electronic pest control device to buy? We live in an old old house and no matter what we do we can not ride of roaches. I don't really know how the devices work but they said it would drive them out of the walls. but what about the rest of the house? Cause they have moved into our electronics. If anyone has any info on this thanks. Me and my children are really allergic to them and I hate them! They are so gross..
Has anyone tried the electronic pest control products? I am looking for something that will plug into a wall and emit a frequency that the pesky squirrels in my attic will hate. Has anyone used any of these products, if so, how would you rate them? The suggestions to use other methods are great, but I have already gone down each of those roads. I have had two traps installed and the squirrels have chewed beyond both of them, have had all of my trees cut back, etc. I am in the middle of one major repair and just want something to get them out of my attic, even temporarily so they don't try to chew their way out or die up there once the new boards and flashing are up. So, I am not really looking at this for the final solution, just something to get them out of my house in the short term. So... has anyone had any success with any of these devices as far as squirrels are concerned?
Do those electronic pest control devices work? I am thinking of purchasing one but wonder at the true effectiveness. If you have used or are currently using your feed back would be of help. The device called Riddex Plus and can be found at https://www.riddexplus.com/flare/next
Electronic pest control? Safe for rabbits?? I would like to get an electronic pest control device, but certain devices have warnings that the frequency pitch they use is harmful to pets such as gerbils, hamsters, and snakes. I want to know if anyone who has a rabbit has purchased one of these devices. If so, what brand/style would you suggest. If not, does anyone know which brand/style would be safe for rabbits? Thank you for the feedback so far. I live in an apartment so I can't just call pest control; however, I'm still looking into all of my different options, and the electronic pest control device is just one of them. I appreciate your responses and am open to other pest control suggestions that are safe to use with pets in the house!
Has anyone tried Electronic Pest Control Devices Like ...? have you tried those plug in pest control things like Black & Decker Electronic Pest Repellers with Extra Outlet or Riddex Plus Electronic Pest Rodent Repeller ? are they effective for bugs ? I read up and says there good for mice . what has your experience been?if they work on what kind of bugs ? Like flies?
Does electronic pest control work? We have rats, mice, and possums in our house, and we recently came across an ad for electronic pest control, advertising a gadget costing NZ$159.99 which plugs into mains power and apparently gets rid of mice, rats, and cockroaches in an area up to 150sqm. The ad claims the device sends "short 'pulses' of electromotive force through your home's electrical wiring that drive pests from their hiding places and out of your home". They have a 60-day money-back guarantee, and claim the unit will last more than 10 years. Has anyone here used this? Can you recommend it? And what on earth is "electromotive power"?
do electronic pest control devices work? i have read a lot of questions and answers on this site about this very subject and i would have to say 90% of all people say the products are useless. but then there are some who swear by them and have for years. when i was younger i worked with a guy who used them and it worked wonders. the problems i am having are spiders, centipedes, ants, and "rollie pollies", but not mice or rats. i spray like crazy but nothing works, i have seen government action on the ineffectiveness of this product but personal experience that they do work. i realize the huge flaw in design is that roaches are attracted to the magnetism. MQ: have you ever used electronic pest control? did it work? what brand/kind did/do you use? BQ: what would you suggest besides EPC?
Electronic Pest Control...? My sister-in-law is having a problem with roaches. She has called the landlord and he just sprays her apartment. Then when other tenants call... he just sprays their apartments, so the bugs just jump from apartment to apartment. I'm sure he knows that you have to treat all of the apartments at the same time, but he refuses to do so, he said that he didn't have time for that. So, I've been seeing those infomercials for the Riddex Plus, and other devices like Pest OFFence and a couple of others, and I was wondering if they really work. Is one better than the other?
Electronic pest controls, Do they really work? I am finding all sorts of small bugs coming into the house and it's driving me crazy. Weird things I cannot identify. Small black ants, red clover mites, weird bluish gray spiders and the asian stink bugs are not far behind. Anyone with similar problems? I was thinking about pesticides but I have 2 kittens at home. Thanks.
How effective is electronic pest repellents? I was told that it makes a very high pitched sound that will repell all types of rodents particularly rats. have you ever tried it? Example below: http://www.victorpest.com/sonic_pest_control.htm
A good solution or something that works? I have a problem with cock roaches. They are mostly by the stove. I moved the stove and cleaned it inside and out, the walls by the stove. I had person come over and spray for them but that has not helped. Does any one know if the electronic pest control devices that work? I keep my place clean and that does not help.
Is there a safe and effective way to get rid of mice? It seems this time every year we seem to get a bit of a "mouse" problem. I have a 5 year old, and a cat (outdoor) and i am afraid to use any poisons, not knowing if either one will come in contact with it. I have bought glue traps and they work, but not good enough, i also heard that those electronic pest controls dont work, so what should i do?
Can't get rid of centipedes. What to do? Everyday I always see 2 or 3 dead centipedes on my kitchen and front door entrance, both with pergo floors. I bought 2 electronic pest control repeller and sprayed Raid Houshold Insecticide inside and outside the front door and sliding doors near the kitchen. I still see 3-5 centipedes, some really small some about an inch. Some crawling but most of them dead. Is it time to call an exterminator? Is it because of the weather? Some plants outside my house?
does this item work???? Im looking to get one of those electronic pest control things you plug in. Has anyone tried them? there are so many different ones, which ones work?? example below.... http://www.gooddeals.com/products/206/Pest-Repeller-Ultimate-AT-5-in-1.aspx

Mouse traps while away from apartment for a month? I've recently started having a mouse problem in my apartment and have killed 4 in the past week using normal snap traps. I also have a couple glue traps set up near walls and an electronic pest control thing plugged in (though its of questionable use). However, the holiday season is here so I'll be going away from my place for a about a month. I don't want to come back to a bunch of mice running and pooping around though. I also don't want to set traps and have dead mice rotting away for a month attracting bugs and stinking up my stuff. What would you do? Would you set traps? Thanks and happy holidays!
How can I remove cockroaches from my apartment? Ok when I moved in they obviously did not tell me about the cockroach problem they are nice apartments and I pay 911.00 a month and for that much I don’t want to deal with cockroaches ive lived in way cheaper apartments and I have never had this problem before I was wondering what I could do to remove the cockroaches I always keep my apartment clean and I don’t have furniture other than be bed I want to do something now because when I do add furniture its going to be worse has anyone tried the electronic pest control that comes out on TV does it work for cockroaches?
What are precautions I can take to prevent my children getting snake bites, & medicines to have around in case? My 7 month old boxer Shockey got bit by a snake in my back yard yesterday. I live contiguous to woods. There is a water bottom nearby, although the kids don't go near there. There have been many reports of snake bites recently according to the vet. I am already taking the most common precautions such as keeping low grass, etc, but are there any special methods like electronic devices, pest control, chemicals, etc. that I can use to repel snakes? Also, although I will haul a** to the hospital or dial 911 & have ambulance come right away, are there any special medicines or 'antidotes' I can keep around for quick treatment?
How many mice on one house? I have caught 3 mice in a week but i am still seeing them in the house. how many can there be?. As we have a pet hamster we cannot get a electronic pest repeller which i heard can work very well depending on how much you spend on one. I heard that with the bait traps the bait they take/consume infects the nest so it kills all of them, is that right? We had the pest control people come 2 weeks ago in and they laid 3 boxes all 2 metres apart for some reason outside the kitchen! Obviously they are not taking it from there or it's not working. plz no 'get a cat' replies
Can anyone recommend a good electronic insect zapper? To kill wasps? 1) I live in a studio apartment, so I do not want to use insecticides/sprays. I would prefer to use electrical bug killers. 2) I live in London, so I need to buy from a company that can deliver to the UK 3) I have a wasp problem; there was a nest nearby that we have destroyed (courtesy of the local pest control company), but I still have rogue wasps that frequently visit my apartment. Many thanks jed, do you have learning difficulties? I do not have time to "study" and "admire" wasps (and remember, wasps and bees have different attributes). I am highly allergic to wasps stings and wasps are naturally agressive. Please take your "spritual wisdom" elsewhere. Thanks
ANT PROBLEMS WHAT do I DO? Hi everyone ok its summer time and every year when summer starts up i see ants coming in2 my kitchen etc...how do i get rid of them so they wont come in..i know the main reason is maybe because there is food lying around but hey im from pakistan we cook A LOT at home my mom cooks like 2-3 times a day sometimes so we cant help NOT having food at home sometimes we will eat outside but rarely anyways i heard about this product that if u plug it in2 the wall it will make the ants go away its some kind of device that makes some noise and gets rid of ants and others i think this is iit shud i buy this or what i HATE ants in my house im thinking of buying this item off of ebay should i?thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/PEST-OFFENSE-ELECTRONIC-BUG-CONTROL-REPELLANT-REPELLER_W0QQitemZ260394850628QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item260394850628&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50 http://stores.ebay.com/Famous-Items
Negotiating with my condo association: how to do this most effectively? To note: I pay all my bills in advance via electronic bill pay and have never had a neighborhood violation on my condo. Yet I have had terrible bug problems coming from an abandoned condo upstairs (to the point even Truly Nolen Pest Control (high-line pest control) told me there were no bug nests whatsoever and 100% of my bugs were from my upstairs "neighbors")...and the exterior paint on my porch (an area I am not allowed to fix) is flaking off dramatically. I have filed a report about the bugs with Houston health control to no avail. More recently, I smelled pot for next-door neighbors on the same level for a couple of weeks and, after the guard refused to deal with it, I finally stopped it by leaving a note on their door saying "if you don't stop I will report suspected drug trading". ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I am to the point of looking for legal action. I am spending $200 a month for the type of "service" described above (IE my condo association fee) and wondering...is there a legal way to force my condo association to not charge maintenance fees UNTIL they fix at least the bug problem (and preferably the others as well)? How would you suggest pushing them into a corner...so they absolutely have to do something? For the record, I paid for the pest control...and Truely Nolen noted there was nothing wrong/"improvable" with the cleanliness of my condo (kitchen or otherwise) and the bugs were spread around randomly (rather than situated near an unclean/wet area). For the record, I have contacted the HOA and they have not responded. I AM on the HOA, but final decisions are made by the board (which is one person/"admin") and I have not gotten the chance to be on the board. If I really am to blame for "not being active enough"...is my remaining course of action to A) try and get elected over the board chairperson? B) watch my neighborhood fumble downward? ******************************** As I said before, both myself a Truly Nolen confirmed the bugs WERE coming from another unit...thus making it an "external" issue. They are coming off the porch and from the walls of the unit above me...I for one know the porch's are their duty to fix. ********************************** Also...the unit upstairs is "owned" by a person who has NOT maintained their unit up to community guidelines and the association claims he is "un-contactable b/c he moved out of state". ********************************** Also, for the record, Truly Nolen was the agency who told me I should contact the HOA regarding my problem in the first place. Another statement: even permission I would GLADLY A) paint my porch myself B) pest control the abandoned upstairs apartment myself A way do allow the HOA to let me do that would be great if you could find one. For sure, I'm not some "lazy bum" expecting them to solve things for me: I just want things to GET DONE WELL somehow.

What "effect" can this create to my indoor cat? I have purchased a RIDDEX(r) Power Plus Pest Repelling Aid for my house. I plan to use this electronic device to help rid my house from the occasional mice that find their way indoors. This unit is supposed to send an electronic or high frequency "sound wave" throughout the electric wires throughout my house. I'm concerned if my indoor cat will hear these sound waves while wandering through the house. Will these sound waves (in any way) HURT his hearing or other anatomical system? Yes - I know it is better to let my cat take care of these random mice (which he occasionally does.) I am trying to help him gain some CONTROL on these many rodents before they create a LARGER problem indoors, like foraging in my dog's dry food container. I store my dog's dry food inside the garage, which is where my cat usually never goes. And when my cat does scavenge for mice, HE MAKES THE BIGGEST MESS.
