How can I get a higher score in Hula Hoop for Wii Fit? Would like to start out by saying Wii Fit is awesome, my girlfriend bought it for me for my birthday last week, we've played it every night since and I've already lost 2 pounds. Anyway, if anyone has gotten 4 stars in Hula Hoop, what's your method? Any tips? My highest score so far is only 275. Thanks.
How do I catch Hula Hoops? (Wii Fit)? Okay, I got the Wii Fit yesterday for Christmas.. Hahh. I love the hula hooping game but how do you catch the hula hoops? I keep leaning to the side the hula hoop comes on but can't seem to catch it. Any tips?

Does hula hoopong on the wii fit board really work? I think wii fit is fun and after ive played the hula hoop game a couple times i was exhausted! Im thinking of doing it every day after i go for my run, but does it really work? does it make your tummy and waist slimmer?? or is it a useless?
wii fit won't let me run or hula hoop? Both the running in place and hula hoop worked fine originally. 1st the running just stopped registering and then a few days later the hula hoop just keeps dropping despite me going on. Changing the batteries didn't help.
Wii Fit- Hula Hooping. Have you noticed this? When i am doing the Hula Hooping feature in the Aerobics section, i have to turn the board backwards ( with the power button and light in the front instead of the back). because if i put it the normal way, when the Miis throw the hoops at me, no matter how far left or right i lean, they bonk me on the head. But. using it backwards, i also have to adjust another thing. when they throw the hoop at me to the left, i have to step off with my left foot, not just lean to the left. same for the right. this is annoying. yes, it's not so the same as being in a gym with a real person; it's a game and has flaws. have you noticed this flaw with the hula hoop game or any others? i'd love to know. i wonder if they'll make a wii fit2. this is new technology, so i assume that it'll keep being improved upon.
wii fit ??? i bought a wii fit japanese because its more cheaper but when i play games like that hula hoop thing ( things that use the wii fit board ) This thing comes up after i select the game ?? Is the Wii Fit supposed to kill your back? I just got the Wii Fit and whenever I do activities such as the hula hoop and the segway game, it leaves my back in pain from all the contorting. I have to lean forward so much in the segway game to move that I almost fall over. And whenever it tests my center of balance, it won't say I'm centered until I lean forward, which also puts pressure on my back. Am I doing something wrong or what???

My Body Aches From The Wii? When Will It Go Away? So I hooked up my Wii and Wii Fit yesterday and have been using them both constantly. On regular Wii Sports, the games I played most were Tennis and Boxing, which required a LOT of arm work; and the activities I did most on Wii Fit were Hula Hoop, Track, and Boxing. Now today, my body (mostly my arms) are soooo sore! Even when I laugh, my back aches. I think I over did it, but then again I haven't worked out in a long time. When will my body stop aching?!

Is this a good diet plan? I'm fourteen, 5'3, and i weigh 139 pounds. Well, i wanna lose like 30 pounds now (i know its not impossible, my mom lost 20 pounds in 3 months) and i made a schedule to do it: Sundays through Thursdays: Calorie Intake: 1250 Calories to try to lose: 500 Exercise Time: One hour Exercises: Thirty minutes of running, fifteen minutes on the treadmill, and fifteen minutes of the wii fit hula hoop (it WORKS i tell you!!) Fridays and Saturdays: Calorie Intake: 1300 Calories to lose: 500 Exercise Time: One Hour and forty five minutes: Exercises: Thirty minute jog, thirty minutes on the treadmill, fifteen minutes on the hula hoop, and fifteen minutes doing yoga. Its not impossible for me, Im not a beginner. I've lost weight before, but I gained it all back. No freaking trolling, please, it doesnt help anyone. It just makes you look immature. Okay, so, do you think I could lose like 30 pounds with this plan? Is this a good plan for my diet? I have church in the morning and I want to get some exercise in the morning before I go to church. I plan on doing Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds 2 mile walk in the morning along with 6 minutes of the Wii Fit Hula Hoop. For breakfast I am going to have a serving (measured by weight) of Quaker Oatmeal Squares (3 points on weight watchers and more convenient than plain oatmeal). This will be served with 1 cup skim milk and 2 slices of lean ham cooked on the stove like bacon. After this, I'm going to walk to the local grocery store (.3 miles away) to buy some fruit (such as an apple or pear). I am also going to make a thermos of Peppermint Green Tea (20 oz., 2 peppermint tea bags, 1 green tea bag) to bring to church. Is this an alright plan? Am I getting enough exercise? I will probably do more walking later in the day, but I want to get some exercise earlier since I haven't been able to walk much due to a sore ankle. I'm finally able to walk on the ankle without any pain or discomfort (and no brace)
Should I be worried about my dad? he is 39 and pretty tall, 6'1" and about 210 lbs He is not in shape and his heart beats very fast after doing very little like running up stairs... He tried my wii fit hula hoop today lol and he almost fainted he said A while back hmm this summer? Have I done too much exercise? I have just done- .wii fit hula hoop- 186 spins (: . 6 reps on each leg single leg extentions .6 reps press ups .6 reps side stand .3 reps torso and waist twists ( 3 of each) .10 reps jackknives .10 reps per leg lunges and the warrior pose of yoga Now i feel sick- is this too much, i dont normally feel like this after exercise, but i want to go on 10 minute jog and i feel too sick :( Any advice? I'm a Wii-Fit fan! Anyone who is also a fan? I'm not much into video games, yet when I got to know about Wii-Fit, I'm enthralled. I just love the yoga, balance exercises, aerobics and strength training. I spend 30 minutes a day doing the Wii-Fit. It would be nice to have some moral support from people who also love the Wii-Fit. I know some people might say it is not real exercise. I also go running out of the house as I sweat more. But the hula-hoop can really make you sweat as well!

Walking VS. Wii Fit which is better? Is the wii fit about the same as walking as far as losing weight? How long would you have to do it each day? I like the hula hoop one i break out a sweat in 10 minutes but when walking it takes me 35 minutes to break a sweat why?

I was running on wii fit? I was running on wii fit because it sounded like fun (the 30 minute course). So i ran that and my wii fit trainer told me that I was awesome! I was doing the hula hoops and I tripped up! How much can I sue the wii-fit trainer for? I'm thinking 1million-5million?

How much weight can I lose doing Wii Fit... I just got my appendix removed, and im not supposed to go running for 3 weeks... i need to still lose weight by september. Can exercise rupture an ovarian cyst? I got an ultrasound done today and the lab tech saw a cyst on my left ovary that appears to be twice the size of my uterus. Would it be dangerous to exercise? I need to start loosing weight and I plan on using the new Wii Fit that uses hula hooping and abdominal twists.

After I do 10 minute super hula hoop then I do 10 minutes free step and I finish off with a 12 minute jogging island lap. Is this ok or do you think I should change it to a 40 minute stepping routine using the three stepping games as I have heard stepping is good for losing weight? Do you think I should stick to my normal routine or try this new one? Thanks x :)
Why do people like the Wii Fit so much? My friend has the Wii Fit and she says "after one try you can see a difference". I highly doubt that. I don't see why people just go out and exercise instead of buy something you DON'T NEED! No matter how you put it it IS a video game. I was reading some review and someone said they waited in a line for 1 and a half hours to get it. If you can stand that long for a video game I think you don't really need the wii fit. Please tell me why people are crazy about it! Why can't you just do yoga at home,buy a hula hoop,actually dance instead of just stepping on and off a board, and run outside and not in front of your tv?
what age group is the wii fit good for? i have 7 and 5 year old stepdaughters who love to play the wii... we only get games where they have to move a lot, so they can get some form of physical activity during the cold winter months, when its not possible to be outside all the time.. we are thinking about buying the wii fit for xmas, but i'm curious as to how fun it will actually be for them - i know there are hula hoop games with it, but will kids of that age group, A) have fun with it and B) be able to do it?

How much should i lose if I go on the Wii Fit for 30 minutes a day? ok, im 14 and we just got a wii fit! i no, very exciting... but I weighed in at like 180.3 or something. i set my goal at 25 lbs with the help of my doctor. How to lose a beer gut with Wii Fit? I've already changed my diet to a healthy 2000 cals/day. So now I'm adding in the exercise program. But I don't know what routine to do to get rid of the gut. Should I focus on strength training, or aerobics, or both? Which programs in the Wii Fit should I do that will offer me the most? Wii fit suddenly ignores my hula hooping? I have been using the Wii fit for a few months with no problems, when suddenly the last few times I've attempted to do the hula hoops, the hoop just drops even though I'm going crazy swaying my hips on the board. I recently changed the batteries so I know that's not it. I haven't had any other trouble in any of the other games involving the balance board.
Please help me, eating disorder? I'm trying to lose weight. I'm 5'3 110 lbs. I've lost about fifteen pounds the healthy way. It took me a few months. Now, this afternoon I had: One and a half servings of Kashi Go Lean crunch. Half a frozen banana. I felt like that was too much, so I hula-hooped on wii fit for ten minutes.(as fast as I could) Then, about an hour and a half later, I had: -A slice of whole wheat bread -triangle of laughing cow cheese -little bit of Romain Lettuce. -two graham crackers -serving of Kashi cereal (yes, again!) Again, I felt like I ate way to much, so I did intense cardio for 30 minutes. That was mainly dancing like a fool around my house. running as fast as I could, going up and down the stairs ten times, things like that, w/o taking a break. THEN. I made myself throwup. It's the first time I've done that. This isn't the first time I've exercised after eating. I do that pretty often actually. I just want to make sure I use all of the calories I consume. (1,300-1,400 a day) My BMR(?) is around 3,500. Now my stomach is cramping. What does that mean?

How to Burn at Least 400kcal in the Next Hour? I've eaten to much junk today and the only good thing I've eaten is chicken! I have a jump rope and really only like doing cardio workouts, but I'm in my bedroom right now and have no idea what to do. plan good for being healthy? does this plan sound good? **on the exercise, which would be better, jogging or wii fit or both? exercise- every other day for 20 minutes straight of cardio (jog on treadmill) or 20 minutes of wii fit (jogging and hula hooping) then 10 minutes of ab workouts & stretching breakfast- bowl of honey nut cheerios, 2% milk, banana snack(only if in school)- pretzels, granola bar, rice snacks, newtons fruit crisps, fruit, graham cracker sticks, 100 calories packs (oreo crisps) lunch- turkey sandwich on wheat, yogurt or baked lays or cup of fruit snack- apple or some kind of fruit. if i dont eat a snack between breakfast and lunch then eat one of those options snack (an hour or so before dinner)- fruit dinner- serving of whatever we have- usually healthy **always includes veggies so what ya think? any suggestions? im already too skinny and when i workout, i have to eat more that day to keep my stomach from comming in and me looking super skinny. my doctor and mom say i dont even need to work out but i feel lazy when i dont
Holy crap Mr. Wii, I don't know if I like you? I played Wii Fit for the first time yesterday..even though we've had it since Christmas. I only did 50 minutes on it, but I am sore like a..well i don't know what. I woke up this morning wondering why I was so sore, but then I remembered that I played that. So. Anywho, have you ever played Wii Fit? Did you like it? I'm the queen at hula hooping. What is your favorite activity on it?
Will I have to stop working out entirely? I've worked hard to get to the size/weight I am now. I know I won't always be this size-- especially while I'm pregnant. But my mom is all, "I was a size 3 before I had you. I never got that body back again" but she also eats like a pig and never works out. She wants to say she's been carting around my baby weight for 21 years? Yeah..... right. Anyway, I'm currently (pre-pregnancy, but TTC) 5'5" and 132 lbs. I work out 3-4 times a week. I usually do a few yoga poses to stretch. Then I do jack knives (I'm sure I'll have to give that up), step aerobics, rowing squats (to strengthen my lower back),step aerobics, and hula hoop on the Wii Fit (LoVe that thing!). What do you think my doctor will make me cut out while pregnant? I just don't want to end up like my mom..... from 130 lbs to 200+ lbs after she had me and never went back. And if anyone tells me I'm going to be a "bad mother" for caring about how I look, I'll report your answer!
Why do my sides hurt? I've been having pain in my sides for a while. It hasn't quite been a month though. I'm only thirteen. I'm scared it's a disease or something. It's the kind of pain when you exercise too much. But I don't exercise with my hips or waist much. I played on the Wii Fit the other day. The Hula Hoop Game. My cousin has played it and my brother. But they didn't have any pain.
how much have i burnt on wii fit? ok so, i have done wii fit for about 2 and half hours today, i did the free jog for half an hour with only a short 1 minute break. the hula hooping once, 5 of the muscle workout, 2 yoga positions and step plus or whatever twice :)? xx

My Exercise Plan, Is It Good Enough? Ok So I've Created A Daily Exercise Plan and A Netball Plan(Basically Extra training for netball) Here's The Daily Plan: Sunday: hula hoop, jogging, ab machine, leg machine Monday: boxing, bike ride, ab machine, leg machine Tuesday: Yoga, wii fit, ab machine, leg machine Wednesday: Jogging,bike Ride, ab machine, leg machine Thursday: boxing, hula hoop, ab machine, leg machine Friday: wii fit, bike ride, ab machine, leg machine Saturday: Free Choice (If I Do A Sporting Activity else where, i cut one out) Netball Plan (Everyday): -Lunges with weights (5minutes) -Shoot 100 Goals - Run For 5Minutes (Non Stop) 3x a day - Step Ups With Weights (5Minutes) - bum kicks (5Minutes) So Do you think that's good enough to keep me fit, i would also like to cut out the dancing, with an activity similar AND- i exercise morning(7-9am) and night(7-9pm) (i do my netball plan twice) would they're be a better time to exercise. ALSO- At Around 11pm i become extremely hungry ! is this to do with my exercise plan, or is it just me being hungry? Explanation please. Lols, No Im not A Professional, im only 13 Lol, but it doesn't make me tired, so i can hardly see it as too much.
Does Slimquick Really help More when I am already Eating Healthy and Exercising? I am doing 30 minutes of exercise a day. I just started so Its not much exercise but as I get healthier I can exercise more. So far I do about 10-15 Minutes on Yoga, about 10 Minutes on Strength Training, and The remaining time on Aerobics or Cardio, such as Jogging, Hula Hoop, and mini games. Yes I am doing Wii Fit. Its because I do not have exercise equipment or a local gym or a car. So this work out actually is good considering I NEVER work out. SO its a good start until im a little more fit. SO Thats my exercise. I am limiting myself to 1200 calories a day. I am doing pretty darn good. I was sick so I lost 5-6lbs ugh! Being sick sucks. And Now I am really being health conscious. I am having Special K cereal for breakfast, its yummy, with fat free milk, ew.. If I drink Vitamin D i gag, so Fat Free is what we always get, lol! And I try to have a salad during the day, I don't put anything on it. Sometimes Italian dressing but thats it. And I try to have a healthy dinner. I am actually not craving food as much now.. Wierd. Anyway my question is: Would Slimquick help me get a boost with energy, and help me lose weight? I am already making healthy lifestyle choices which I hope to continue forever (with some altering like more exercise). I just want a boost. So would slimquick work or is it just secretly a laxative/liver killer? I have read some good reviews online..
Basic Diet and Fitness Plan? Im a 5'3 13year old and I weigh 116lbs. I know I am slightly overweight and my main concern is to simply lose around 7-10lbs. My exercise regimen consists of waking up at 5:45 and doing a free run on Wii Fit for 20 minutes. Afterward I usually do the hula hoop activity or strength training excercises such as jackknifes and pushups. For breakfast I always have 1 bowl of original Special K cereal and a banana, and for lunch I have an orange, some carrot sticks, half of a sandwich plain (I'm not into condiments), and a low-fat yogurt. Foir dinner I always try to eat as much green vegetables as I can and lean protein as well. I am not involved in sports but when I come home from school play the Wii Fit aerobic excercises. Quite simply, I want to know if I might be able to lose weight by doing this, it can be gradual and any comments would be greatly appreciated. =)
Anyone have a Good cardio plan? Anything I should add? subtract? I am just focusing on cardio for now and my diet. I am on a mission to have a defined stomach by Halloween. I am not overweight or out of shape so it shouldn't be too hard. I have read different sites and gathered my info for this month, to work up to September then October. This month working on cardio to try to remove the bit of cushion over the torso area. I am 5' and 105, I cut down my calorie intake to be between 800-1000. I make my meals ahead of time, so dairy, protein, grains and produce is involved in every days calorie intake. No salt is added to meals made. I do water aerobics thee to five days a week, deep and shallow. I power walk for one hour each day down a hill in my subdivision, out to the store and back. At my home, I have fit in 30 minutes doing stairs. Every other day or daily I jump on the Wii Fit and do 15-30 minutes of 'strength training' as well as their 'aerobics', mainly hula hoop and boxing. Occasionally I like to row at the gym, but may add that later.
how many calories can you burn...? I am wondering how many calories you burn with the wii fit? I want to know how many calories you burn doing 15 min of: Hula Hooping Step Yoga and the boxing. I've tried looking online but I can't find the answer. Anyone have any ideas? I'm not asking how to loose weight, I'm asking how many calories the wii fit games burn. Honestly if you can't answer that, then don't answer at all
Working Out? I have finally decided to just do it. I am talking about exercise. I am 5'2" and weigh 175 lbs. Seeing this, I got sick to my stomach and figured enough was enough. So, I pulled out the Wii Fit that was sitting in the corner of my living room (unused) and started up. I have been working out every day now for 8 days and have lost 4 lbs! I am very excited about this and now all I can do is hope that if I keep it up I can lose 30 lbs by Christmastime. My question is this, though. Now that I have changed my eating habits and exercise routine, is it possible that I can work out too much? I usually do 30 mins a day, but have already done that today and am wanting to do 30 more tonight. My routine on the Wii Fit is about 10 minutes of Yoga stretches and Strength Training. I do about 10-15 minutes of Aerobics (Super Hula-Hoop, Step Aerobics, etc) and 10 mins of jogging. I am very sore in my shoulders, neck and upper back. Should I take a break for a day or press on?
