Is the movie "Alvin and the Chipmunks" an okay movie for my 2 and 1/2 year old daughter?

My daughter is 2 and 1/2 and she saw a advertisement for the movie "Alvin and the Chipmunks" and said that she wanted to go see it. I wasn't sure if she would understand it. Would she? Her development is at the top of her class and is very bright. Thanks!

1. Sure is. I was obsessed with that movie at two years old. I wouldn't say that it would teach anything bad to your 1/2 year old. There isn't any really scary scenes. Good luck!

4. I think it would be a perfect movie. That movie includes alot of fun holiday scenes. Although she might not understand all of the comedy she will certainly get a kick out of the chipmunks themselves. Its great to see with kids I found, because alot of these new animated movies include humor for adults and kids. I would say yes, your kid will love it.
5. my son's aunt took him (3) and his cousin (4) today to see it, and they both loved it and sat through it...it was his first movie at the theater, so I was very surprised. Hope she likes it.
6. what the hell ''deez''!!!!! it doesnt have any thing of that i think it is funny and allright for a child.
7. It should be fine. The "inappropriate/suggestive" parts she won't understand. The film companies are trying to get the adult crowd to watch as well without infringing on childrens innocent minds. It ends up being quite humorous for everyone involved. I say go for it and she may want you to buy it when it is available too:-) Enjoy.
