How many of you thought Alvin and the Chipmunks movie was just the cutest thing?

I took my kids to watch it the other day and I thought it was adorable. I cant believe it has gotten some bad ratings.

1. Its definitely not the Chipmunks I knew as a kid, with that in mind I thought it was junk. And where were the Chipettes?
2. very very good, cute and a great soundtrack (love bad day)
3. didn't see it but the commercials for it were very cute
4. well, yeah there freakin adorable!=) but that don't make a good movie... it did look pretty dumb & i hate when the remake anything hello the originals are soo much better but yeah cuuute!=)
5. it was adorable. but.....it wasn't the same OLD chipmunks! but we all have to realize these weren't drawings. It was cute. but nothing is as good as originals except now and then
6. OMG I loved it!! It was so cute and funny!! I was surprised it got bad ratings I thought it was going to be a big hit. Happy New Year!!!
7. I loved it. Yeah, it wasn't the same as the old chipmunks, but anything is better than nothing. Everyone at the theater loved it too, they kept clapping and making "aww" noises. And as we all walked out, I realized that not everyone had kids with them, some older people just went on their own to see it, which I thought was cute.
