Alvin and the Chipmunks Wii Game Contols?

Ok, I get that the bottom target just require you to shake the remote and nunchuck. But how on EARTH do you get the top ones to work? I looked at the controls and it said that the top are the remote and nunchuck, but then it has this weird +B or +Z next to it? Just please tell me how to get the stupid thing to take top notes.

1. +B means "press the b button" which is located on the bottom of the wiimote +z means "press the z button" which is on the nunchuck.
