chipmunk a song (not speed up song, raise pitch)?

title says it all. I'm looking for a freeware program that would allow me to chipmunkitize a song.

1. You have to record it super slow and then speed it up to the tempo you want the finished product to be, which raises the pitch & tone of the voices so they sound "chipmunky." I don't know of a program that does this, but that's traditionally how it's done. You sing in "slow motion" and adjust the recording speed afterwards.
2. Audacity is a free program that can do any sound editing effects you want. Someone even made a youtube video tutorial of how to do the chipmunk thing.
