How can I make a song sound in a chipmunk version?

i want to post a song on youtube... the only thing is that i want it to sound in a chpmunk version. for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8JX3sQ33Bo ..... i want it to sound like that! =]] can you plz send me a link or website where i can do this? id prefer a website =] THANX!!! =D

1. If you have Garageband then you can just record your voice and it gives you choices to change the way your voice sounds and one of them is the chipmunk voice
2. If you have garage band on a mac...... it's really easy...... or u can download audacity....free program (second link)
3. Download the software Audacity at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ if you don't have one (it's free!). Then, install it in your computer. When it's installed and all, run it. When it's opened, click "File" ---> "Open"---- Search for the song that you want then double click it. It may take awhile for it to load on the software. Once it's ready, press your "Ctrl" and "A" keys together. This will highlight or "select all" the "waves". You HAVE to highlight the waves so that you could apply the effects.On the menu bar, click "Effect". A small window will pop up with a bar on it, you have to drag the bar from where it is to your right hand side to make it go faster then you'll have the "chipmunk effect" ("Percent Change" of 70 or higher is fine). If you drag it from the middle towards left, the speed becomes slower. Click "OK". Again, it may take awhile for changing the speed to finish up. Then, you have to highlight all again and then press the "play" (big green arrow at the top) button. When you think the speed is too fast or too slow, redo this paragraph's instruction. Once you're okay with it, click "File" again then choose "Export as WAV". Give it a file name and you're done. Hope that helps XD
