How can I discourage chipmunks from hanging out in my yard?

They are driving my dog, and in turn me, crazy. She's obsessed with trying to catch them and she's always barking to go out or tearing up the yard and fence trying to catch them.

1. Get a cat and leave it out in the yard. You can get humane traps at Ace or where ever but you will have to relocate them.
2. B-B Gun.
3. hang aluminum pie plates off tree branches and sprinkle cayenne pepper and get a plastic garden owl . The combination of all 3 works really well . good luck and happy gardening .
4. I think that is her entertainment and excitement and exercise. I'd leave her be. Or, maybe play with her more often. You might get a cat, they will chase them off or kill them.
