- The easiest, quickest and cheapest solution is to get some 2 litre clear plastic bottles. Half fill them with water and lay them on their side in your garden where the cats go. The cats hate the reflectiuons and will stay away.
- Low powered air pistol will sort them without harming them.
- Most effective are gin traps. But sentimentality will not allow efficiency to be a criterion in this area.
- http://desire.around.at you can get much information in this website, If you will check anyone blue link in website.
- scatter chopped up onions where they go to they dont like that
- They will only work in a small area and will not keep cats out completely. I have 4 of them and still have unwanted cats in my garden ! Having said that, mine are the battery powered ones so I think the mains one would be better. Certainly worth a try.
- it dose not mater what you do they will always come back i now have a dog as soon as he goes in they are back you just have to get used to shearing they are more wild than domesticated
- I know someone who had a problem with cats making a mess in his garden. Allegedly he mixed pelletised rat poison with tinned catfood or tuna chunks and put it out for the cats over a period of three weeks or so. The results were really good, apparently.
- Plant the ancient medicinal herb rue or "Herb O' Grace". Sprinkle dried rue around here and there or plant it in and around your garden. Its very pretty with early summery yellow flowers. Other plants they don't like are marigolds and pennyroyale.
