is there a specific setting on computer that helps music not sound like alvin & chipmunks? sounds set 2 fast!?

all music i play sounds like it is set too fast! music sounds like alvin & the chipmunks! is there a setting to change this and set music to correct speed? HELP...FRUSTRATED!!

1. Update your drivers bro..... maybe you need a new sound card newegg.com for a new sound card. realtek for a new sound driver try reinstalling your sound driver
2. Do you use onboard sound or have you purchased a fancy schmancy soundcard?
3. if you recently downloaded iTunes and switched back to media player, that might happen. it did to me. so reinstall media player. but first, make sure you right click on the control bar of media player, go to view>enhancements>play speed and make sure it is set to one
