do electronic pest control devices work to keep rodents out?

I built a 30*32 garage and worry about rodents making it their home. Will those electronic devices deter them? Any suggestions? The blog dealt with air purifiers.. I am confused At this time I do not have a pest problem - the unit is new. I am trying to avoid havign an issue with these creatures.

If you have bees and wasps leave a small radio on all the time in the shed. They won't come in if there's noise pretty much but I'm not sure about rats.

no that electronic crap doesnt work or i would be out of a job. trapping is the best way .you sprinkle chocolate powder on the trap and set it where you want to , but dont arm the trap yet leave it for a day or 2 . then sprinkle fresh chocolate and arm the trap.
