"The Chipmunk Adventure" animated movie OR "Alvin and the Chipmunks" live action movie. Which do u like better?

If you don't like the movies or don't care for them then please, no negativity or comments. If you haven't seen both movie, then I don't need your opinion. Not trying to be snotty but it's a waste of my time and yours. Thank You!

I'm not familiar with either movie, although I do remember David Saville's early "Alvin and the Chipmunks" records being played on the radio in the late fifties, and my nephews used to watch cartoon versions of those characters in the sixties. I'm responding to ask if what you have asked is correct in its particulars. Is "The Chipmunk Adventure" an animated feature, and do actors in chipmunk costumes play the trio in "Alvin and the Chipmunks?" I would assume it is the other way around, in that I would assume Alvin, Theodore, and Simon are animated in some fashion, but that the "Chipmunk Adventure" might feature real animals. Is that correct, or would it be the third possibility that "Chipmunk Adventure" is a traditional animated film, and "Alvin and the Chipmunks" features CGI chipmunks interacting with human actors? Sorry, but I'm out of touch with celluloid chipmunks but you have a chance to put me straight.

6. I dont really remember watching The Chipmunk Adventure, but I dont think I can forget how bad the new Chipmunks movie was. So yeah, cartoon version ftw
7. I loved The Chipmunk Adventure when I was a kid. I haven't seen it in more than 15 years. My niece and nephew like the new movie and it's one I can actually watch over and over. I'll have to go with The Chipmunk Adventure just because I love my memories of it. Plus it has the Chipettes.
