Do you think anyone will pay money for cartoons from the late 1980's to early 1990's?
I have so many cartoons from the late 1980's and 1990's that are no longer shown on television, except for two. The only two that are shown on Direct TV are Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers and Talespin. However, I still have shows such as Muppet Babies, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Legend of Zelda, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Care Bears, Tiny Toon Adventures, Ducktales, Beetlejuice, Dennis the Menace etc. So I am just curious if these are worth anything today. Thanks

- Do you have umm....mike lou and og? and there was this cartoon that um with this little black fly its like 5 mins long each u have that? or wat about ace ventura pet detective? or the triplets? or garfield and friends? or dexter's laboratory?
- There may be a question of ownership ie copyright. But, actually, I think only the original panels by the artist or cartoonist are of interest to collectors. And these may ultimately be the property of the syndicator.
- If you're talking about owning them on VHS or something. I dunno. I'd like to own some of those titles. Of course if you just taped them off the TV, I'd doubt you'd get anything for them.
- Many of those cartoons have already started to come out on DVD. Otherwise, there are lots of websites that sell bootleg copies of just about every cartoon series already, so if you were planning on selling them you would have lots of competition. One example is this website: http://www.cartuneman.com/page2.html
