How do you make voices like the chipmunks in a music video?

Ok, im trying to make videos for youtube, so im downloading music videos and trying to make the voices sound like chipmunks, I have tried going on Windows Movie Maker and do Speed up, but it doesnt make there voices sound like the chipmunks, Help would be appreciated

1. Movie maker, like media player, speeds up the playback, but digitally leaves the picth unchanged. If you double the speed with an alalog system, the wavelength of the soundwave halves, and thus the pitch is doubled, giving that characteristic chipmunk sound movie maker is pretty basic and I do not think you can double the pitch, but it can be done on any music software. you can download more advanced video software online, but you have to pay for most of it
