Could I make money from creating chipmunk songs?

If I took songs that are pretty well know, change the pitch and speed, could I sell it on iTunes by any chance? Or anywhere else for that matter?

1. No, because songs are copyrighted. You can't "take" them for anything. You would have to write your own.
