Do those plug in pest control products really work?

Can anyone tell me on a scale from 1 to 10, how well those ultrasonic pest control products that you plug into the wall work? 1 being not worth the money, don't buy one and 10 being totally worth it, buy one.

2. i would give it a 1. we once had a mouse in our apartment and we bought those things. they did not work for nothing! i was so disappointed! you want to know what worked for us? the good old fashioned snap ones. seriously!
3. Zero. They do not work at all. Complete scam.
4. The only people that I have heard say that those things work really, really well are those that are trying to sell them to you on the TV. My vote goes to -1. Hope that this helps.
5. 0 unless placed correctly the static noise in your home cancels out the sonic . the furniture in your home blocks the sonic . only way they will truly be affective is if you install then in the crawl spaces of your home . this involves installing outlets . good thing to do if you own your home . and they work better if they are in the middle of the room pointing at a wall . the sound will reverberate . same reasoning behind the speakers on a rock stage are pointing at the band . you can hear it louder than they can .
6. all those ultra sonic pest control is not effective not unless you build the house that all the walls and ceilings are surounded with wires then i will say it works.Just emagine what they say on tv that the pulse sent on the wiring of your house but the problem is not all the walls and ceilings has an electrical wires.So, for me? 0 dont waste your money for that shit.
