How to stop the Chipmunks from eating our bird seed?

We have several bird feeders in our backyard, unfortunately the Chipmunks, will climb the rod and eat all the feed from the feeders before the birds do, what is an attractive way to stop them?

1. use a baffle on the rod.... the green thing... http://www.lamp-post.co.uk/prodimages/meripac/usbaffle.jpg you could use the pattern and improvise.. http://www.bird-feeders-online.com/shop/18-Wrap-Around-Squirrel-Baffle-Woodlink-pr-10160.html put a little seed on the ground UNDER the feeder for them... they gotta eat, too..... *smile*.....
