Pest control queston?
I have tons of ladybugs in my house and they are getting out of control. I'm not sure I want to kill them, but what would you suggest I do to get rid of them? Only all natural, organic and non-toxic solutions please. We have cats, dogs, sugar gliders and visiting children who must be safe.

- Vacuum them up with a vacuum cleaner, this is the easiest, most non-toxic method.
- the vacuum is the only way to get rid or japanese ladybugs. They have a hard shell with oil on it to protect them.
- if you use the vacuum extension hose, secure an old stocking on with rubber bands or tape to act as a filter so as the beetles aren't sucked into the machine...after a while it will cause a stink that will always be with your vacuum. This summer try to seal as many cracks and crevices on the outside of the home, maybe better screening on the gable vents...at the end of Summer treat the exterior of the structure with a pyrethroid based insecticide as a repellent.
