There exists some Great Information in Yahoo Answers about Rodent Control, specifically neutralizing or trying to control "wise" Field Mice who I have seen in the past enter homes and build food caches via carrying dog food and storing it inside shoes & boots in the basement and garage etc Dogs and cats are in our household are no longer a problem.... Glue traps and spring loaded mouse traps baited with peanut butter don't seem to sufficiently stop or deter the unseen mice population. My wife thinks using poison bait pellets and/or blocks is not the answer/solution bec she is afraid that mice will die elsewhere in basement or garage. When I have found one that has actually managed to drag the glue trap and eventually die, they are normally dried & shrinklved up into a little tidy mess than I am considering using more aggressive extermination methods bec existing methods: glue traps, spring loaded traps and leaving garage door open for neighbor's cats simply isn't cutting the mustard... Thus, I was curious what a professional exterminator who does pest control for a living & is employed by companies like Orkin and Terminix what equivalent intermediate or advanced rodent control products & chemicals would he/she recommend that consumers and homeowners might find sold in hardware/grocery store(s)? Thanks so much for your time and wisdom!
