what is the best way to get rid of raccoons on the roof? pest control or animal control?

do I have to make long term contracts with animal control or pest control.? what do I do? I only want a one time deal and to just get rid of them.

2. find out how they are getting up there and remove it
3. In California, Animal Control will contact the State Trapper to remove the animal.
4. raccoons are smart n crafty. if you want the critters removed n not destroyed rent a have-a-heart trap - when caught take them as far away from yr home as possible. good luck
