Will pouring bleach down chipmunks hole kill them?

I have a family of chipmunks that are ruining my patio with their burrows. If I pour bleach into the holes, will that kill them?

4. just flood them out with a hose. they'll either drown, and become food for the bugs, or escape and leave.
5. I am not sure. I have them , tried it, but the damn things are so fast and I couldnt figure out if there was two or two hundred. The one I did see sure looked clean though.

7. Buy a Havahart live box trap and put peanuts in the shell in the back of the trap, I"ve caught 14 of them and never missed a one. I take the critters a couple miles away and let them go and they hav"nt returned.
8. I just am amazed by how you folk in the USA use bleach or baking soda for absolutely everything!!! Bleaching the chipmunks would be a horrible death. They feel pain just like we do. Show a little mercy and do it humanely if you've got to do it.
