Alvin & the chipmunks Question?

Aside from Alvin, Simon, Theodore, Britney, Eleanor, and Jeanette were there any other chipmunks in the old cartoon? Like cousins or other rivals, or anything like that? Another question, in the chipmunk adventure, there was a song called Diamond Dolls by the Chipettes. Did anyone ever do, like a cover on that song?

1. as far as i know, the chipmunks and chipettes were the only ones like that. and also there are no covers of that song, at least not that i know of. sorry.
2. To my knowledge, the only other chipmunks in the 80's cartoon were Uncle Harry (a con artist who claimed to be the Chipmunks' long lost uncle in order to take advantage of their fame and fortune), and the Chipmunks' mother who appeared in a Mother's Day special explaining to the Chipmunks why she abandoned them. I don't think there ever was a cover of Diamond Dolls. It's a shame as it was a good song.
