why do people always confuse "The Chipmunk Song" with "The Christmas song"?

It's so irritating. The Christmas song is "Chesnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose..." The Chipmunk Song is "Christmas, Christmas tie is near time for toys and time for cheer" With the squeaky voices knpown as the Chipmunks. Hence "The CHIPMUNK Song".

1. I don't know anyone who ever confused the two, but the titles are kind of similarly simple, so I guess simple minds can easily confuse the two.
