who will pay pest control in apartment, When it has cockroach?

I have rented a room for 2 years ago and now this room has cockroaches, I called manager, he told me that I have to pay for pest control,the landlord won't pay for that. It righ or wrong? Please help me, how can I do now, Thank you very much.

2. Terms and conditions will vary and it will depend on your rental agreement. Personally I wouldn't waste much time argueing with management over it if I had cockroaches and I would try some household insecticide sprays as soon as I could. You have to live in the room afterall.
3. there is no way i could live there, i would move no matter what, but in the meantime i think he should pay every once in a while spray his building really good, but after that I think you need to clean everything out really good and keep it that way, try to go online and find natural stuff to keep them away, anyway, the problem is you can't be sure that your neighbors are as clean as you and use pesticide, so it will be in my opinion a waste of time if they have the same problem and don't deal with it... so move i went to a hotel once and it was full of them, but I will make sure and ask next time, just take it as a learning experience and make it your priority to move into a nice clean place.
