how do i get the chipmunks that live under my trailer to go away?
they have eaten their way up into the blanket underneath my trailer, and i'm not removing my blanket. i have rat traps set up with bacon and bird seed, but the smart little rodents know better. for the past week while i'm trying to sleep it sounds like they are having a special chipmunk olympics with running and laughing and clapping...... I also have a puppy dog that lives with me, so i dont want to use anything that may make her sick. an exterminator is not an option either.

- Rat poison works on chipmunks too.
- use moth balls they don't like the smell burns there eyes good luck
- move your trailer... or get a cat - the love to chomp on chipmunks!
- exterminator!!
- Toss rags soaked with ammonia under your trailer. They hate the smell.
- Play that old album Alvin and the Chipmunks with the volume all the way up. The good thing is that chipmunks hate that music and will leave your trailer alone to be destroyed by a tornado later. The bad thing is the cops will probably show up and your children will have a hard time making friends with any other kids besides the ones with buck teeth. But hell, give it a try!
- Got a cat? Put it under your trailer. Or just use rat poisin
- I have heard moth balls are good to keep them away.
- USE MOTH BALLS IT'S CHEAP.
- At the dollar store get moth balls, spread them around. It also keeps skunks and rattlesnakes from coming around.
- A few people were absolutely right. The most environmentally friendly way to rid of chip is to place a little cat food, not much and a kitty under there for a couple days and they will disappear. I had a shipmonk living in the wall of my house when I first moved in. I tried everything. Traps and all. The cat was the only repellent that worked. I kept a shed cat ever since.10 years no squirrels or chips.you may even make a new friend.
- Throw peanuts everyday under your neighbors trailer
