Do chipmunks eat strawberries?

I'm planting strawberries outside and something keeps eating them.I think that they are chipmunks but I am not sure.

1. is there any dort bumps in your garden? because it might be moles. a variety of animals will and do eat anything that they can. it might be deer. but if it is moles, push the dirt away from the top and put a running hose in the hole. that should get rid of it.
2. Chipmunks eat pretty much anything they come across. Unfortunately, without drastic measures, there's not much you can do about it.
3. Birds are probably the worst offenders when it comes to eating strawberries. You can drape the plants with lightweight netting to keep birds out. Chipmunks? A cat maybe.
