What company should I hire to protect my home from Termites and Why? I live in the Southeast and am shopping Orkin, Terminix and Cooks Pest Control. Which is better?

1. theyre all good, its entirely up to you. pest control companies pretty much use the same chemicals and procedures.i have used terminix and orkin for other issues and both were good companies.only thing is you have to sign a contract for a predermined time. this is to ensure the issues are resolved and of course make money.
2. Joea is right in that they all tend to use the same processes and procedures these days. It comes down to the paperwork and the local reputation. You might also consider talking with a smaller local company. Better is what suits your needs and gives you confidence. Check carefully to see just what service you will get for your money, find out what chemicals they use (and why), see what they will do if there is a warranty claim. Asking these things gets you the obvious answers but will also help you gauge how responsive they are.
