How to make a song sound like a chipmunk?

i have a mac and i want to make a video of a song in the chipmunk version i know they have it for like every song on youtube but i want to make my own cuz theres some songs that are not up so anyways, can u do it on iMovie?? how about garage band? and if so how, and i also want to be able to upload it 2 youtube srry for the a thousand questions and thank u!

1. a lot of basic audio programs should let you increase the pitch and speed of a song so that it sounds like the chipmunks. i'm not familiar with garage band but there should be an option to do that in there
