Pest control harming pets??

Tomorrow my apts are gonna have a pest control team out here. I asked if it was harmful to my son or even my fish but I forgot to mention my cat. But they said it wouldn't be harmful to me or to my fish. So would anyone know if it's safe to keep my cat at home. And if I were to take him somewhere else, how long until I can bring him home?

1. I wouldn't worry about the cat, but if you really want to you can find someone to watch him while they are in your apartment. We have guys come out every year too, they are probably just spraying a repellant under cabinets and sinks. It's harmless to pets. If they were fumigating, they would have told you all to leave.
