what pest control chemicals are used in construction?

I am planning to construct a house. What chemicals are to be used as pest control in foundation / plinth? Any brand names?

1. The main chemical used is for termites. A heavy dose of any termite treatment chemical will be sufficient. Dominion 2L, Permethrin Termite Chemical 36% or Cyper TC are just some of the chemical choices. Fallow the directions on the product, save the warranty information just in case.
2. the best to use is Termidor..I have been using it since it came on the market in 2000 and have yet to have a call back
3. There are many types of chemical labeled for pretreats on new home construction. If you are planning on living in the home for a long period i would recommend Termidor. This is a very effective chemical. The label guarantees it for 10 years on new construction and 5 years on old. It is more costly ranging from $250-$300, but is well worth it to protect your investment
