1. Those things are not good for anything!
2. A strange thing about mosquitos, is the colour Blue. In countries where people live with the mosquito problem, mainly in North Africa, have found for a long time, that the colour Blue prevents Mosquitos entering the house. For some reason mosquitos will not pass the colour Blue (that is a light Blue). There is a theory that the Mosquito cannot see the colour blue, and to them it is just a blank space. So, if you ever decide to paint the house, you know the colour to choose.
3. I have not had luck with them. Skin So Soft by avon is the best mosquitos. put it on. YOU. Citronella plants garlic plants lemon grass. these might help. Also get an end of hose sprayer and fill it with dish soap. and wash everything down roof, house, walls, deck, gutters, grass, trees (pine trees are the worst), bushes wash everything down as high as you can wash and alot of soap. if you can get the cheap pink soap that is the best. it will last until it rains or your sprinklers wash it away.
