what poison do pest control services use?

Hi I'm trying to find out what poison the pest control people use when spraying houses? We have a flea problem and don't have the money at the moment to pay someone so we want to do it ourselves

Hi I run my own pest control business, to have a house treated does not really cost that much, and plus, the insecticide used not only will be difficult if not impossible for you to get hold of, also you should not use it yourself as it is for professional use only, you may think that it is a simple spray so you could do it but there are different effects from different types of insecticide and some are very serious and if you are not aware of symptoms, or what to do if on your skin, eyes or mouth as can happen when spraying you could come to harm, also if something were to happen, and you had to go to hospital, would you be able to inform the doctor of the active ingredient and the amount? These high strength insecticides are not for public sale for a good reason. Do you have pets? Another thing to consider when using these sprays?
