How long should you stay out of the house after pest control sprays?

I am home during the day and have a 2 year old, my townhouse complex is using a pest control company to spray inside all houses. How long do we need to stay out of the house? Also, will it help if we leave our windows open?

1. The best place to get reliable answers to those questions is from the pest control company. They know what they're spraying and the safety precautions necessary for whatever they're spraying. Ask whoever runs the complex if the pest control company has advised what residents should do. If they haven't, call the company itself.
