Electronic pest controls, Do they really work?

I am finding all sorts of small bugs coming into the house and it's driving me crazy. Weird things I cannot identify. Small black ants, red clover mites, weird bluish gray spiders and the asian stink bugs are not far behind. Anyone with similar problems? I was thinking about pesticides but I have 2 kittens at home. Thanks.

1. I would go with the pesticide. The electronic gadgets are a big scam.
