How do you stop chipmunks from nesting in engine area?

I live in the woods and already used traps.

1. It's going to be tough. My only suggestion is to get a cat. It's warm there and they are going to do it reguardless. Now if you aren't trying to keep them alive, let them nest there. Eventually you'll end up killing every single one and you won't have the problem again.
2. well all i can say is good luck, your trying to do something thats almost impossible
3. People have used concentrated snake urine to keep rodents away.There is a company called Solutions in Texas that sells it.
4. Drive the car daily, park in a different spot each night... They'll get the hint.
5. Two things: #1 -Take the dryer sheet after you use it in the dryer, they are great for repelling everything from Ants to Rats and even Chipmunks. #2 - Moth Balls - put in small plastic container (lids of peanut butter or jelly jars) place then in several locations under hood, under car and inside car and trunk area.
