What is pest control on the computer and How can I get rid of it?

This add to get rid of unwanted software called Pest Control keeps poping up and it will not get trashed when I run spyware. It keeps asking me to download the software. I want it gone, please help.

Pest Control? Could it possible be Pest "P"atrol. Pest Patrol is a antispyware program. Most likely someone downloaded it and the trial version has run out. It is not spyware. You should be able to just un-install it through your Add and Remove Programs list.

Do not dpwn load anyt unknown data from the Internet. Better to be on safeside. You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers).
