  1. No idea - ask you local council or call up the pest control services your area. Youve got to be a good shot - shooting one or two is not going to be enough
  2. As long as you don't shoot your neighbor's eye out it is legal.Unless if they're some rare or endangered species of chimpunks u can shoot the heck out of them.
  3. 1. if they are not protected or have a season on them you may shoot them. 2. If you live within a city, there may be laws or regulations on discharging a fire are, you should check this out with your local police department.
  4. Check with your local authorities, in many communities pellet guns are covered under the same laws as any handgun/rifle. Meaning no discharge of a firearm within city limits. Odds are you're not going to make a dent in the chipmunk population anyway. They can breed faster than you can kill them and new ones just move into the territory you've cleaned up. You best bet is to work on rodent proofing your buildings. Make sure there is no access to food sources or water on your property, don't give them a reason to be there. Good luck.
  5. It depends on your local laws. I would check with your local police before buying a pellet gun.
  6. If you find shooting them is illegal or ineffective there are traps and poison bait both available that will help you control them. Bert
