UK question: How much does pest control cost?

I'm not wealthy but I have bed bugs and I cannot stand them livng like this. It has made my life hell and I feel like moving house but I cannot afford to. Do you know any ways I could get a pest control company who charges less?

1. In U.S. and Canada, they charge a few hundred per room. The few pest control companies that I asked charge $200 to $400 per room. But be prepared to pay a lot more than this, since it takes at least 3 visits on average to remove an infestation.
