Are soundwave/electronic devices effective in pest control?

I have a persistant mouse problem and this has led to unwanted side-effects...fleas etc. Can I rid my flat of the rodents with devices that emit high pitched sounds that will drive the rodents away?

1. Yes these devices are excelent...BUT will only work if the mice have somewhere to escape to. Otherwise they will just find the furthest place away inside your flat.
2. Excellent. They work really well, but they take about two weeks to become fully effective and never switch them off or you have to start again. Buy on eBay or from Price-Drop tv either direct from the television or off their website.
3. The ONLY way to get rid of them is kill them. Dead.
4. I've had these things plugged in for the last 2 years in my attic rooms, but I still get mice in the attic space behind the rooms, when they are supposed to work within about 500 metres. So best advice is to lay traps. Try the ratzapper (actual name of the product). It gives them a quick shock via a battery and kills them instantly. Better than poison etc.
