How many mice on one house?
I have caught 3 mice in a week but i am still seeing them in the house. how many can there be?. As we have a pet hamster we cannot get a electronic pest repeller which i heard can work very well depending on how much you spend on one. I heard that with the bait traps the bait they take/consume infects the nest so it kills all of them, is that right? We had the pest control people come 2 weeks ago in and they laid 3 boxes all 2 metres apart for some reason outside the kitchen! Obviously they are not taking it from there or it's not working. plz no 'get a cat' replies

- Cheese!
- If you set out a bowl of instant mashed potatoes flakes, uncooked, the mice will consume the flakes, get real thirsty, drink lots of water, swell up and die...my hubby swears by this and I've seen the evidence! More importantly, to me anyway, is to find out where they're coming in...My hubby found the ports of entry and eliminated them...no more mice in the house! I hope you didn't pay to have those boxes that aren't working set about.
- we had a mouse in the house once, eventhough we have a cat and the cheeky wee beggar sauntered out from under the fridge to eat the cats' food. i know they are vermin as such but we bought humane traps and popped a piece of mars bar inside and it worked a treat. i was able to release the mouse outside. check around the house for droppings as this is where the mice will be most active and lay a few of these traps. check around sources of heat like hot water tank or boiler as these would be perfect breeding sites. check that gaps under doors as a mouse can get through a gap about the thickness of a pencil. hope this helps, all the best.
