  1. special wasps have been imported into the country to stop the spread of japanese beetles, but it's not working too well. purple loostrife has been infected by nematodes, which kills it off. that's all i know of...
  2. at my plant shop we sell praying mantises, trico wasps and ladybugs to kill other "bad" bugs. ladybugs kill aphids, and mantises and tricos kill many other bugs.
  3. Well, the perfect example would be bats. No one likes them much but they play an important role in our eco-sysytem by controlling the insects, like mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are pests during the summer and suck blood. Bats eat mosquitoes . This is 1 example of how natural predators keep pest populations under control.
  4. the klamath beetle has been used against the klamath weed in the midwest. ladybird beetle and praying mantis eggs are sold in nurseries as a natural pesticide against aphids
