Soul-mate Survey: Do you believe you can have more then one soul-mate?

Let me add that I believe a soul mate is both something natural and also it needs to be worked at by both people. Much like wild crops, they may thrive on their own, but if in a farm, they grow and thrive like no ones business because of tender care. (fertilizing, water, planting times, pest control, etc). So I believe we can have more then one soul mate and it is partly natural, but also needs to be worked on. It is fertilized with romance, love, respect, laughter, a warm heart and so on. I want to see if others feel as I do, or if you disagree, please feel free to say so. In other words, just state your honest opinion. Thanks for taking part.

1. Anyone can become a soulmate by learning who you are and making you feel secure. It's not a magical thing. This isn't fairy land.
2. I feel that there are many people out there that you can choose to make it work with and have a loving long term fulfilling relationship with. I do not believe that God chooses two people that are destined to be together and if they don't find each other, then they can never truly be happy.
3. Yes you can have more than one soul mate in the course of a lifetime, that is not unusual at all.
4. I gotta say i agree with you 100%.... I've yet to find mine....i thought i had but now i'm not to sure!! :-( Time will tell i guess...

7. i believe that people have many kindred spirits that they knew from a previous life but you meet very few of them because there are so many people and the world is so big but when you do meet them you have to put very little work into it - you get along with them naturally and you feel like youve known them forever when its only been a month or so.i think it can be hard to differentiate between close friends and kindred spirits but over time its easier to tell which is which. i think i have met 2 maybe 3 of mine :)
8. I think so. A wise person once told me you can have more than one great love or soul-mate throughout your life. Usually you find them at different points or cross-roads during your life. It's only a problem when one comes into your life while you are with another. For example, in 1987 I fell in love with a great man. I imagined spending the rest of my life with him. He was my soul-mate. He died tragically in 1989. Two years later, I met my current husband. We fell in love. He is my best friend. I cannot imagine my life without him. He is my soul-mate.
9. Yes I think I agree. It takes love & dedication to eachother but I believe that if it's real love it can happen more than once.

11. During the course of my life... I've had 3 "major" soulmates, and about a dozen "minor" ones... (Those damn female soulmates just won't leave me alone...)
12. my honest opinion is that I really don't know. I gave up on that a while ago after I lost mine. I do think that there are other people out there who I am compatible with, but not too sure about the soulmate part.
13. I've been married four times and they have all been my soul mates at one time. I can't help they all want to marry me!
